GTQ Impact Day

In each of the five countries we visit, we will have an Impact Day. 

 

The addition of an Impact Day to the Global Treasure Quest™ event is our initiative to bring about personal significance and awareness to some of the needs we are facing globally. We want to provide opportunities for participants to make a positive contribution to the communities they visit. Here are some key points and highlights for your Impact Day:

1. Purposeful Pause in the Competition:

   • The Impact Day serves as a strategic pause in the competition, offering a final clue to teams if there is a standstill in the treasure hunt.

   • The final clue given to every team in the morning aims to get each team within 50 feet of the hidden treasure.

   • This injects a sense of urgency and excitement into the competition, making it a race to the finish.

2. Positive Impact Activities:

   • The day is dedicated to making a positive impact in animal conservation programs, schools, orphanages, and local communities.

3. Collaboration with NGOs:

   • Collaboration with various Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) enhances the impact and ensures that efforts align with the specific needs of each community.

4. Community Engagement:

   • Participants engage directly with local communities, fostering a sense of connection and cultural exchange.

   • Activities are designed to address the immediate needs of the community, emphasizing a hands-on and impactful approach.

5. Holistic Approach to Giving Back:

   • The day is not just about providing material support but also about caring for, nourishing, developing, and enhancing the overall well-being of the communities visited.

   • The inclusion of an Impact Day is our commitment to global philanthropy, encouraging participants to recognize and contribute to the well-being of communities beyond the competition.
